Dr. Jacob Elisha is a highly-regarded Board Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon with over 25 years of experience. This certification is only awarded to those Periodontists who have made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of their specialty. Dr. Elisha specializes in the treatment of gum disease and offers services that include: Extractions and bone grafting, bone & soft tissue reconstructive plastic surgery, crown-lengthening, gum grafting, scaling & root planing and LA dental implants.
Education and Background
Dr. Elisha attended UCLA undergraduate college, majoring in Microbiology.
He became the youngest student ever to be accepted to Harvard School of Dental Medicine and UCLA School of Dentistry after getting the highest score in the Dental Admission Test in the country when he was just 19. Having received an academic scholarship, Dr. Elisha made the decision to stay in Southern California to attend UCLA. He completed his doctorate in Dental Surgery at UCLA School of Dentistry in 1988. Dr. Jacob Elisha obtained a diverse number of honors, including National Institute of Dental Research Student Scholarship for Research and The Department of Periodontics highest award for Clinical Excellence, making him one of the best specialized periodontist.
